News - Popcaan says Vybz Kartel can't stop him from saying Gaza

Former Portmore Empire deejay Popcaan continues to proclaim his allegiance to the gaza despite some recent backlash from Vybz Kartel, his former mentor and leader of Gaza group.
In a recent statement allegedly sent out by the incarcerated deejay, as well as, a new single featuring Tommy Lee, Vybz Kartel specifically bashed Popcaan, labeling him as an opportunist and disloyal individual“stop talk bout gaza, better unnu talk bout plaza, unnu a use mi name fi mek money but unnu no rate mr. palmer,” Vybz Kartel deejay in the new single title “Betray Di Gaza Boss.”During a concert last weekend in Portmore, Popcaan told the audience “its gaza fi life,” before delivering one of his popular hits.
“Big up to Kartel who played a major role in what Popcaan has become as an artiste today,” Popcaan added during his set.
Popcaan told the crowd that no one can’t stop him from saying Gaza, which is a direct response to Vybz Kartel call for him to desist from using the group he helped founded.
